About Aunty Cimoy:
Hi!
I am Cimoy George...fondly known as Aunty Moy.
Aunty Catherine, who has been caring and imparting knowledge to children on our island for over 40 years, is my mom. I was born into this service and have been teaching and caring at Aunty Catherine’s Child Care and Learning Centre for over 15 years.
Each child becomes our own...we’re more than service providers, we’re family...and we give 100% to each child in our care.
Throughout our years of experience, we’ve learned many things that make our teaching methods unique and successful...but the two major things are:
1. The earlier children are cognitively stimulated...the easier learning becomes and...
2. Each child learns at their own pace.
We have a set outlined curriculum, but we tweak, retract and expand based on our children’s individual needs. During this time of COVID-19, our goal is to make our service available to children on our island, in our country, and the world.
Our goal for our little ones is to have some sense of normalcy, routine and give them access to complete our curriculum even though they’re physically away from school during this time of COVID.
